Meet Dr. Kyle Sevel

Just like Dr. Jordan, Dr. Kyle Sevel grew up in South Florida with a father who is also a dentist. In high school, he spent much of his time volunteering with Operation Smile, an organization that helps provide cleft lip and palate surgeries to children around the world. Part of his volunteer work included organizing a one mile walk at his school to raise money for the organization and travelling on a two-week medical mission to India as a student educator.

Dr. Sevel then attended Yale University in Connecticut for his undergraduate studies. After graduation, he spent a gap year working at Yale for the university’s Secretary and Vice President for Student Life. He then moved to New York City for dental school, where he completed his training at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. While at Columbia, Dr. Sevel was awarded the Dr. David Whiston Leadership Award from the American Dental Association Foundation for his contributions towards improving the oral health of the public.

Dr. Sevel stayed in New York for his orthodontic residency, where he graduated from Montefiore Medical Center, earning his certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (from the same program as Dr. Jordan!). He is so excited to start his journey as an orthodontist, creating beautiful smiles and improving oral health after many years of hard work and training.

In his spare time, Dr. Sevel enjoys taking advantage of everything the New York City area has to offer. He likes checking out the latest Broadway shows, trying new restaurants, exercising, going to the beach during the summer, and spending time with his friends and family.
